TS-12 Orange, close but on the slightly lighter side. When Rust-oleum took over Testors they reissued Hugger Orange under part #28108. Got mine at Hobby Lobby.

Thanks Dave. The engine enamel I used on the Boondocker Blazer looks a little too red. seems like it could be a little lighter. I always have good results with the Tamiya lacquer.

I think that's what I was using. Mine came out a little more reddish than I was hoping. I already ordered the Tamiya cans. I'm sure I'll use them on something. I paint everything some kind of orange. ?

The Chevrolet Orange-Red engine enamel isn't even close to Hugger orange. Plain old Testor Orange, while not exact, is closer, especially if you're a believer in "scale effect."

For decades, I assumed that the Chevy engine orange was the same as Hugger orange. Apparently, I was wrong about this.

What about testors competition orange?

Last year I chipped my paint on my schwinn orange krate and was told its essentially hugger orange. I also used duplicolor chevy orange and had to tint it a little yellow as well
