1930fordpickup Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 One of my favorite cover cars from Super Ford Magazine was a 66 pro Street Fairlane. Thanks for the memory recall of that car. I like where this is headed.
TransAmMike Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Pretty darn cool lookin' Mike. Really like the engine anf trunk details?
raisin27 Posted September 6, 2022 Author Posted September 6, 2022 Got some paint and foil on the Fairlane, ready to be clear coated tomorrow. 4
Zippi Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Yeah, that's a Bad looking Fairlane Pro Street. Really sharp looking so far.
Brutalform Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 (edited) Very nice. Excellent detail work. May I ask what racing harness and buckles you used? Edited September 6, 2022 by Brutalform
Chevy II Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 What frame did you use for the pro street tubs & what is the rear end from? Really well done.

My original plan was to use the rear tubs from the 70 Super Bee pro street kit but someone I know gave me a resin chassis that was already tubbed. After all the work I had to do cleaning up imperfections I think it would have been easier to stick to the original plan! The rear end is from the Super Bee kit, Thanks

Chevy II Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 So when you use masking tape for the belts, do you fold it over onto its self so there is no sticky side?
