1974 Pontiac Formula 400

Went so far back in my stash when I found this one I thought I met my younger self who just bought it...lol! I LOVE Dodge and Chrysler products but those early 70's Pontiacs will make you pull a muscle in your neck when turning  to look at one ride by.......

This is "Bad Luck"......when you are attempting  to put back  into the model case and it slips out for its own test drive ...

Fortunately it did hit the carpet and everything can be fix with very minimal repair.  I think my heart just started back.

Nice looking build!,looks like repairing it will be easy,when Missing link resin offered the flat hood for these i snagged a couple.Sometime in the future i want to build a mainstreamer 350 powered Firebird.

Great looking paint and I like the Formula Hood. Dropping a model after all that hard work will have you using language that your mother would have washed out your mouth with soap for using. Don't ask how I know about the soap or dropping a model.

Red? I thought it was Sundance Orange. My dad had a 72 Ventura II that was the same color.

Yeah, guess I had Buccaneer Red in my head since it was a popular color on the '74 models.

Just looked up Sundance Orange since I wasn't aware of that color and it's an attractive one. And now I see it in this model.
