AMT68 Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Built from the current Revell issue of the 1/25 scale '66 GTO. Painted in Ford Toreador Red and cleared with Rust-Oleum in the green label can. Simply a very well detailed kit that was a pleasure to build. 6
larman Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Stunning model! Those outdoor shots could pass for the real thing! Great color too!
happy grumpy Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 That's a gorgeous GTO. The outside shots are stunning. The red line tires fit well with the body color.
70 Sting Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 That’s pretty sweet. Beautiful colour and finish.
#1 model citizen Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Very realistic looking. Beautiful work!
Bills72sj Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Very nice build. Did you apply a black wash on the rims? They look really good.
Zippi Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Nice looking color. Very clean looking build. Love those red line tires.
radiohd10 Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 awesome job! i tried building the mpc version of this and it did NOT go well (it's currently smashed to pieces and being used as a donor). i need to pick up one of these kits.
espo Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Beautiful paint finish and the color really looks good on this body. I like the contrasting interior color.
TransAmMike Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Wow Tom, incredible job on the Goat. Just beautiful. You did us Pontiac fans proud!!? ??
Dave Armstrong Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Beautiful build! I was a mailcarrier for 43 years, had a customer on my route who did a ground up full restoration on one, it was a fantastic deep blue with white interior. Kept it garaged, only took it to car shows- I plan on building a tribute to that car.

I used it on my '67 Impala recently and I like how it tones down the kit chrome. 13 hours ago, Zippi said: Nice looking color. Very clean looking build. Thanks Ryan. I have a couple more of these kits but I did pick up an MPC '67 just to see what I could potentially make of it. Haven't done it yet though. 7 hours ago, TransAmMike said: Wow Tom, incredible job on the Goat. Just beautiful. You did us Pontiac fans proud!!? ?? Thanks Mike, I may do my build with a vinyl top. They're such great kits. 2 hours ago, Dave Armstrong said: Beautiful build!
