About 25-30 years old. It's time for a refresh. Plan on keeping the same color. Will redo the interior. Lavender? What the heck? Articulating front wheels and engine and bay clean-up.

I have to tell you just about the only thing i would do is a new set of wheels that would go with the wide whites and add a bit of detail to the interior.

Thanks guys, I'm trying to save some $ and update a few of my earlier builds to today's skill level. What makes it more enjoyable is that is something I originally built and I dont have to fix others mistakes or deal with great big globs of glue. I am finding that I like them more than I used to. Not sure if this one is going to have updated wheels or not.

Decided to strip the interior and chassis. Interior will now be white with grey carpet.

the original paint was enamel. It was thick and almost filled in the panel gaps. I did the best I could to try to reveal them. The paint has its flaws but i dont want to get into stripping it. I was hoping for a quick rebuild on this one.

I found these at Wally World. I'm using them as hose clamps. Pretty neat

While the interior and chassis is in the stripper, I tried to take it one step further by detailing the emblems. Hard on these old eyes. Also tried to give some depth to the SS hubcaps. Also working on the steering components

liberated the door cards from the rest of the interior and dropped them off at the strippers.

trying something new. A grabbed a mini zip tie for the battery cable hold down. I'll pull em tight during final assembly. Might use a other for the heater hoses.

engine in place. I guess I went a little over zealous with the glue. My air cleaner warped a bit.
