I built this right out of the revell box sometime in the late 1980’s. I painted it with krylon gloss white and testors French blue . At the time it was the closest shade of blue I could find to match the decal color. During this time we only had the paint displays at our local hobby shops . Sadly these shops are almost all gone. Out of the 10 or so in my area only 2 remain .381145C4-C65A-4B49-8F1C-3F5727CCAD2B.thumb.jpeg.4c89323ae51887f80a19f950aad403af.jpeg2B694D87-DB50-4035-8481-857F35E62887.thumb.jpeg.f04484214b6b7f727073835adce3f017.jpeg907439C5-8D48-49BA-AE86-0B0BA8BD80B6.thumb.jpeg.0dd21c2034931381ff727144d3d893a6.jpeg1E4154EE-09E3-4FC9-BAAF-0A0FA9F805FC.thumb.jpeg.7236ec00331f98a850312491a0a560ea.jpeg

Nice job on one of my favorite funny cars ever. I’ve got one in the stash that I’ve never gotten around too. Yes, it’s a shame about our local hobby shops these days. I’m fortunate that I’ve got 2 good ones close to me that have been around fora long time. But I can think of several in the vicinity that are no longer here. There’s just something about walking in and seeing hundreds of kits stacked on shelves for sale. Addictive!!! Can’t get that feeling from the internet ??
