Me farm cat Tæo is sitting in the box bottom of the International 4070A that I'm working on, on and off.

I sure hope you didn't take my "models in the picture" the wrong way. I was trying to make a "funny" because I didn't even see the model kits on the shelf in the upper right hand corner until after I had looked over the guitars!  Sorry ? , and I apologize if I came off wrong to anyone on the forum thread.

I've got a thick skin, my man. No offence taken (didn't even think of it in those terms).

I'm jealous of those who can play an instrument/ instruments, as it's another form of expression and creativity.

Gentlemen was there a "misunderstanding" regarding my disaster of a model room ? I admit it's wreck... and yes I had to make a decision to either keep more models in the room and move guitars to the garage or vice versa... guess what doesn't like temperature change alot more than model kits?... guitars! ? I keep about 80 car kits and about 40 of other miscellaneous kits in the top of the closet in this room. The other side of the room is full of Warhammer models. The rest of the cars are in insulated totes in the garage.

Anyway I took no offense at all...how could I after posting a picture that looked like a tornado blew through the room ?

What I find interesting is the number of model builders who play instruments of one sort or another.

I reckon its just another creative outlet to use when you can't be bothered to build ?

Or vice versa...

The view behind my bench.

Yah, she's messy eh?

Lol. Both Dragon E36 M3’s, a red car shelf, and a ton of other stuff. Good by me. Only messy if you can’t find anything. ???

Aside from the obligatory mess, and a shelf full of paint cans, the shelf directly behind my bench contains a good portion of my most valued kits......where I can keep a good eye on them. :P

I swing around to look at this all the time!  Please note I do not collect kits - these are all to be built and the stash would have diminished somewhat if only I didn't a) keep buying more and b) building models from parts instead of from a box with only one kit in it!  I have set an all time personal best this year by completing 46 models but alas, probably only five or so were from a new box so the display cabinets in the other room are full to exploding but the stash doesn't seem to have changed much! For example, my AMT Model A Roadster box has six bodies fitted to inside - I could build five cars and still not lose a box from the stash!

Cheers

'Alan

This is about 30% of my car/truck kits. This closet is about 5 feet away from my bench for easy access! The other kits are in another part of the house boxed up.

There’s still stuff everywhere and I’ve been trying to get rid of things I’ll never use. E264D400-77AD-4AB2-9372-FE3621778937.thumb.jpeg.60ae9eedcd89ada99155c8654dfc31ef.jpegAnd in between working on anything I just “put this right here for a minute” while I’m cleaning or going through things then my bench turns into an absolute nightmare. I still manage to work on it though.

And there’s another shelf outside of the room filled top to bottom with motorcycle kits and one shelf of 1:16 kits.

The spare bedroom, that’s a mess, that no one goes into but me. It’s the only outdated  room in the house too, with crappy carpet.

Here’s the front.
