Stevens19 Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 I was going to build this straight out of the box as the Autocar dump truck, but I've been wanting to build one of my favorite Snowrunner trucks for awhile. I found a 3d model of the body and printed it along with some new wheels and interior. It all fit together fairly well, I did need to modify the location of the front suspension to get everything to fit. I don't usually dirty up most of my models so I'm still figuring everything out in respects to that but I did have a lot of fun doing it. I didn't realize the model I had purchased didn't have headlights until it was too late so I improvised with some old nascar decals, I also just realized I forgot license plates. Overall it was a fun build. 3
Gary Chastain Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Outstanding build, good to see something new.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Very nice. Work like this is really making me want to get into big trucks. Slick idea for the headlights, too.
Dutzie Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Excellent work! The world of 3D printing is really opening new doors for build possibilities. The detail in 3D prints is just spectacular.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I like dump trucks!! Nice work on this one!!

Steven, check out the guys at ScaleSpeed Garage if you haven’t already. They do excellent work and are very dedicated to their craft. Chris also runs Bolide Plastic Model Works. They have a great selection of 3D prints.
