Fujimi 427 S/C Shelby Cobra

Ya, I built another Cobra . The Fujimi kit is not one of my favorites but I had a couple and needed something to do . Paint is Testors Star Spangled blue with Duplicolor 1k clear . Pretty simple build . It was to have white stripes painted on but that went way wrong so I just stripped it and went with just the blue . Not a replica of any real car .

Very nice, Ray. Stripe delete and black wheels make for a cool, all-business look. I like it.

Regarding the kit itself, it is clear if features numerous significant shortcomings compared to the Monogram kit.

Have you tried one from the Monogram issue?  You might have a leftover one from your other builds if you used the small racing screen instead.

That was a cool idea but I fixed the windshield, when a removed it some of the paint went along so I had to put it back on. Hopefully I will have better luck with the Monogram kit i am now building.

I have one but have not built a Fujimi Cobra. I do like the inner fender / engine compartment side liners that the Monogram lacks but the Fujimi windshield frame is definitely too thick  I have heard the Fujimi body was based on a kit car rather than a real Cobra. Could be !!?? 

I always enjoy checking out your Cobra projects. You are definitely Cobraman!!
