junkyardjeff Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Got it it at at a model show yesterday and trying to find out who made it and how old it is. Would like to use it in a project using all vintage parts.
larman Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 That is the engine from the original Monogram '32 Ford "Sport" Coupe. It is bigger than 1/24, more like 1/22 or 1/20. It was issued in 1959 and a motorized version in 1960.
Oldcarfan27 Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 25 cents. At least you didn't pay too much.
junkyardjeff Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 I noticed it seemed a little big and thought it could be from Monogram.
junkyardjeff Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 Since its slightly larger it could be used as a 59 to 64 371 or 394,those engines were slightly larger then the 49 to 58s so now thinking on what I can put it in and thanks for the info.
