1955 Ford Thunderbird Gasser or Custom?

Hi all,

my latest finished Model. Monograms 1956 Ford Thunderbird.

I bought this kit years ago with a broken windshieldframe and decided to build a "Custom Gasser". Not a real Race Gasser more like a Show car.

Suspension are from my parts box. Wheels are Keystone and Mickey Thompsons from MRC. Some other Parts like Blower, Headers etc. are also from my parts box.

Paint is simple Tamiya Black. Gold mixed by my own.

I tried to build a clear hood. Not perfect but i can live with it. I will add a Moon Tank later. Orderd but actually not delivered...

Nice looking 55 Thunderbird.  The clear hood looks pretty kewl.  Dealerships back in the day used have would sometimes have cars with clear sections on the hood to show off their engine.
