Brian Austin Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 (edited) A nearby hobby shop stocks these interesting little trucks. I'm not sure how the front axle CV or universal joints work. https://store.rc4wd.com/rc4wd-124-trail-finder-2-rtr-w-mojave-ii-bodyset-red.html Looks like fun! The chassis is rather tempting to put under an AMT or Monogram kit body. Edited December 12, 2022 by Brian Austin 1
Brian Austin Posted December 12, 2022 Author Posted December 12, 2022 (edited) Some others in 1/24 scale... https://www.fmshobby.com/products/1-24-power-wagon-fcx24 https://www.axialadventure.com/product/1-24-scx24-1967-chevrolet-c10-4wd-truck-brushed-rtr-green/AXI00001T1.html Edited December 12, 2022 by Brian Austin 1

This past spring I built one of the Deadbolts with a 3D Printed truggy kit that included a Suzuki Samurai/Jimny styled hood and grill.
Brian Austin Posted December 23, 2022 Author Posted December 23, 2022 Monogram Ramcharger build. It would appear this particular R/C chassis won't allow for a full kit interior. Quite a bit of the interior tub had to be cut away to clear the chassis and electronics.
espo Posted December 25, 2022 Posted December 25, 2022 As much as I would like to have some of these remote-controlled models, they are a little beyond my budget. I have been impressed by some of the optional models I have seen lately at the model shop. Besides the great looking lowered C-10's they have some Camaros and Challengers as well. 1

Brian Austin Posted December 30, 2022 Author Posted December 30, 2022 The guy in the video above got his R/C truck for less than $100. IIRC I saw them at my local shop for somewhere around $120 or so. That's a lot better than what larger scale R/C trucks go for. Many HO scale locomotives go for more money than these little trucks. ?
