Kenmojr Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 (edited) I did this image a few years ago. I modeled Santa's hot rod from scratch in 3D using Wings3D and Sketchup. The basic scene was rendered in e-onsoftware's Vue. The render was brought into ArtRage where I painted Santa, trees and deer. Color adjustments where done in Photoshop. Kenmojr Posted December 13, 2022 Author Posted December 13, 2022 I recently did some updates to Santa's hot rod. My attempt was not to create realism, but going more for a somewhat cartoonish look... Merry Christmas everyone!!!! All the very best in 2023. 1
Kenmojr Posted December 13, 2022 Author Posted December 13, 2022 PS: I need to create an interior in the future, but this will do for a simple 3D render for Christmas....
Kit Karson Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Ken, Next to KOOL this is way above the mark! Back in MCM #215 3D was brought forefront and your transformation from your imagination to a three-dimensional image is an example of mind over matter. Knowledge is power. Well done... keep us posted! -KK 1
Kenmojr Posted March 12, 2023 Author Posted March 12, 2023 Thanks for the kind words, appreciate them.
Kenmojr Posted March 12, 2023 Author Posted March 12, 2023 Here is a supercharged V8 flathead that I have been working on and off on. I tend to start several projects and jump between 3D modeling, digital illustrating and processing raw photos I have taken with my DSLR Nikons (mostly cars and some landscapes from driving around Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Maine). I do not think my engine is to proper scale as I mostly use my 3D models for 3D renderings and digital illustrations and not for 3D printing.
