randyc Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 Enough names? Lol. This is a replica of my 1:1, as rough as it is. Almost done now. Bed is the sides of a Bronco, bed floor and inner sides, tailgate from the monogram duallie (I had it in the junk pile), wheels from MAD. And the parts box. My truck had steelies with rings and dog dishes when I started the build, but I got a set of aluminum 10 holes back in October. Found a match in my old tires box. Going to put the steelies on one side and aluminum on the other. 5
Funkychiken Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 That patina is looking accurate to the original, but why is it called a styleside?

Ford had two names for their pickups: stepside for the version with exterior rear fenders and a narrow pickup box and styleside for the version with the flat side, fenders enclosed inside the body work. Hope this explains the term.

slusher Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 The Dark blue on the seats is that paint or something else?

The interior is a base of blue Duplicolor vinyl spray, same that I used on my door panels. There seat is a darker blue duplicolor I had on hand. Then I masked the outer and middle sections and misted on a lighter blue to sorta resemble my real seat. Embossing powder for carpet and the carpet dash cover. Edited December 30, 2022 by randyc
