Here is a little update, the interior is done, and the engine is almost done. The stock tires from the kit were 2 half of tires that i had to glue together, all in white plastic. I painted them with tamiya black rubber paint. I’m still not sure if i keep the lettering on the tires in black or if i paint it white

A thought on the white litters on the tires. Learned this years ago when the wrinkle wall slicks were in most kits. Use a sharp-edged tool and scrape the paint off the raised letters. This will allow the white plastic to show through and is a lot easier than trying to paint the letters.

They look great, too! Are you planning to scuff the tread ? If so, I'd suggest -as I have done- that you 'paint' the treads with either Tamiya Panel Accent Black and/or Dark Grey. It'll be even more of an improvement.

Your 'Vette is coming along nicely!

Progress is coming along nicely on this one. I used to know this fella about 30 years ago that I was visiting at his house and he asked the question, "You wanna see my Vette?". You should already know where this ones headed.  He took me to his garage where he showed me a V-8 powered Che Vette that was all tubbed out pro street style. Beautiful car it was. Wished I had pictures.

Just run a fine sanding stick over them. That is the beauty of a white base!
