carsntrucks4you
Hall Scout build truck engines until the 1960's. Most of them were gasoline engines because the early diesel engine weren't powerful enough for trucks.. All major truck manufactures like Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack or Autocar offered Hall Scott engines either as gasoline or butan engines. I will install this engine in a Peterbilt 280 COE from Strato model. I used Fusion 360 to design the 3D model and a Anycubic Mono X as a printer.

The later diesel engines were painted dark green, so I''m think about to paint mine dark green
Jim B
Very interesting. Since this engine is going in a 1960s Peterbilt, you could always paint it white.

leafsprings
Excellent work Michael! Great powerplant choice for a 50's big rig! They look very similar to a big diesel engine. Here is another big gas engine from the era.
