Finally finished this one up the other day, started in June last year! I originally painted it yellow, but the last coat reacted badly to the first layers I laid on months before. Nice kit though, with only a couple of fit issues. I also messed up when painting the wheel centres and ended up stripping them, but it also took the chrome off and looked awful in chrome paint, so that was that! I didn't really like the wheels in the kit anyway so I went for some black Torq Thrusts which look 'mwa' (chef's kiss)!

Stellar build, Gareth! I always liked the 3rd generation Chargers. While the Hi Impact colors on this body style really trip my trigger, I really dig your paint choice. Great to see a fresh build from you.

Thanks buddy. Yeah, those Hi impact colours are pretty far out there! Yes, love the 3rd gens. I didn't realise until recently that the Charger was made up to 1978. I couldn't believe what they looked like by that time! Talk about how to kill off a brand!

Looks amazing.  these are nice kits, but I never liked the hood fit on them.

Yes, the hood didn't fit well at all. I had to shave it paper thin along the windscreen edge and still it sits a bit proud.

Very nice, great color choice. Nice to see one in a uncommon color.

Thanks mate. It was almost yellow with a vinyl roof before the paint failed.

Well done Gareth , it looks good in gold and black !  Congrats on laying down that stripe decal !

Thanks mate. Yea, I was breaking a sweat laying those down! I've seen so many builds of this car where if they aren't laid down perfectly it ruins the lines of the whole car.

A fabulous build of a good, solid kit!

Nice work with the decals, I remember these being quite tricky when I built mine.

Your choice of color is excellent and probably closer to the reality of these legendary cars.

I went a little more on the wild side with mine.
