Hi there,

I got a hold of 2 built E36 kits some time ago. These kits are very hard/ extensive to come by these days. So my intention was to restore them both and build one into a Nurburgring endurance racer and the other (this) one into a sporty road version. The restoration was hard on this one, the body didn't take the paint stripping well and the initial builder used a lot of glue on the clear parts... Made the best of it, I gather...

This was the starting point. The body used for this model is the right one...

Great looking paint finish and I like the Metallic Blue color. Nice interior contrasting color and clean trim. I'm a big fan of the 3 series.

Nice save, I had an E36 about 25 years ago. It was in their burnt sienna color. I gave it to my 16 year old daughter and she totaled it (she wasn't hurt very bad).... -RRR
