jsc Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Got the AMT 66 Nova a while back. The fitment and instructions were awful, so I I really didn't think I'd like it at all. So I combined the decals from the Revell '69 Nova, and actually like the results. What do you think? 6
NOBLNG Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I agree about the fitment and instructions on this kit.? It looks like you got it together quite nicely though.?
TransAmMike Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Looks pretty darn good lookin' to me. Nice job John. ? Where in Mississippi are you?
doorsovdoon Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I like how you went your own way with it, looks really good.?

espo Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Great looking Nova. The decals from the '69 year model Nova look good the way you used them.
Monty Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Nice! Glad you were able to get over the hurdles and end up with a great build. I've go the non-pro street version partially done (engine/interior). Can you (or anyone else in this thread) elaborate on the "fit issues" so I'll know what to expect?
jsc Posted January 23, 2023 Author Posted January 23, 2023 Personally, I had problems with where the front shocks mounted, which affected the whole front end. I also had to work on the interior tub to make sure it lined up. So check your fitment and you should be fine.

happy grumpy Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Looks pretty good from here, and I agree. Old AMT's instructions are more like suggestions. Still , I'm glad we still have access to those old kits from yesteryear. Great build nonetheless. I like the livery.
