Looks really good and it'll be a crowd pleaser as there's not many 6 cylinder Camaros built and displayed. Very cool!

Thank you! It took some research to get any info and reference material since theres even less now than when they were new

I too have a 6 cylinder Camero in the works.  It will be a replica of my wife's high school ride.  Hers was a '68 with a floor shifted 3 speed.  She claims she could beat anyone on the stop light gran prix  - for the first 25 feet anyway.

I agree with the other posts above that it's fun to see a different take on an over done subject. These were very common back in the day.

Those old six cylinder seemed to be pretty torquey taking off so i could see that.  Honestly id rather see one of these at a car show over another ls swapped or sbc car just for the unique aspect alone

While i wait for the interior to dry, i modified the fan shroud to be like the 1:1 version ( which is probably more a fan blade guard than a shroud

Although I understand why it is done I am not a fan of "clones" or "tributes" of special versions of cars. This is especially bad when the cars are represented as the real thing.

I once had a chance to buy a '69 GTO Judge for a rather high but still reasonable price. I drove for 3 hours and it only took 5 minutes to determine it was a LeMans with only a couple of GTO parts and badges poorly tacked on it.

I read a few years back that there are now more Chevelle SS's on the road than they originally made!

I love this build. Many years ago I built a slant-6 Challenger just because I didn't want to build a 440 or Hemi Challenger like everyone else.

Yeah i get theres definitely a better re-sell value in clone cars over base models, but its skewed everyones beliefs on these cars. I grew up thinking everyone was driving quarter mile/street terrors, when in factost were just simple people movers.                                                 Its like that  in the foxbody world too, i was looking at 92 the owners claimed was a cobra(they didnt build a cobra in '92 lol).                        I can definitely see that, every car i came across online searching for reference material was an rs/ss or z/28, its good to see every car that left the factory survived the last 50 years lol jk!

Heres the interior.  Added the dealer floor mats. Parts box seat belts. Photo etched window crank handles, front seat inserts, horn cap, key lock on glove box, keys and key ring on the center console, pedals, and the rear view mirror ( no pictures of yet). Also made a turn signal switch, radio delete panel, and removed the switches from the center console
