Just these three pics, for now anyway. This build was started in the 1970s. It got very close to being finished, then it went into storage, where it sat for 45 years. A friend of a friend in Australia bought it and is finishing it up. He contacted be to help find an oil pan for the 1954-1956 Oldsmobile 324 engine. The pulleys with multiple V-belts are a nice touch. I think it’s a pretty cool car and I would like to build a model of it. I’ll ask for more photos.

Is the Revell 1950 Oldsmobile engine close enough? I mean the block and heads. It will need new valve covers, exhaust, and intake.

All the first generation Olds OHV V8 engines (303-324-371-394) are very similar visually, because they're all just different displacements of the same basic design.

The '50 Olds 303 has siamesed center exhaust ports, IIRC, while later engines have them split. Later (324 on up) engines have a 3-bolt center exhaust port flange instead of 2...but nobody is going to notice in 1/25 scale.

Yeah, the 50 Olds engine is the correct base it's technically a 303 but is externally the same as a 324.
