AMT Cal Drag Combo

Here is my Cal Drag Combo.Its a cool kit to build..But...It came with plastic slicks and front tires for the Falcon.Thats one of the first things I changed.I also changed the wheel combo for the Galaxy 500 to.I put Centerlines all the way around.And I used Poly-Glas tires.It would have been cool.If they did more for the Galaxy.Like an engine,chassis etc.Instead of making it a roller....I used some decals from the 68 Firebird Model kit.(Revell).To put on the Falcon Gasser...The rest is box stock.

Very nice work on this. I’ve got one of these combo kits in the stash. Like you, I can’t for the life of me figure out why the Falcon is full detail and the Galaxie is curbside…. The trailer is really cool, though.

That turned out pretty kewl looking.  The green looks good on the Falcon and the Galaxie turned out Great.  I like the trailer that comes in this kit.  I have this kit but just not a big fan of the AWB Drag Cars.  Probably going to trade it off.
