This was a clearance item at Walmart, bought 2.  One day I got the idea to merge them.  Decals home made from an actual invoice.  Spray gear fabbed from a 35mm film canister, sprayer assembly from wire and circuit breadboarding post, and a modified backpack from a dollar store figure makes the pump.  I'll weather it someday when I learn how.

Love it!  I had the idea of doing a club cab, with the corner windows wrapping around, but basically this (picture).  What is planned for the left over parts?

Well Kurt, the majority of parts went to the parts box, a grille ended up on a custom '49 Merc, one of the xtra curved windows fell victim to a dachshund spite attack, the 2nd truck box is around somewhere, I have another parts box I've yet to find since the move...and the beat goes on lol.  I finished this awhile ago but I didnt post it till now.  Thanks much for the shout out.

It is beautiful. But since you asked it is TOO beautiful. At least the tank should be stained and discolored from the chemicals.

Yer right Tony, too clean for a work truck.  I was thinking thinned oil paints for chemical stains, lots of paint chipping and dirt.  It'll happen.

Thank you Happy, sometimes I get lucky and a model mod works out.

Thanx Greg.  Its done, but now I think I may add a few details and then some wear n' tear.  We'll see when I get some bench space.

LOL I went to look for a good example and all the Weedman pictures online are nice shiny, spotlessly clean, brand new trucks with smiling people posing in front of them. Not one single dirty, chemical covered, grass clipping stained, rusty old truck with a minimum wage landscaper scowling at you to be found! None of these picture jive with my memory of when I had the service done!

I had the same experience too Tony, clean and smiling!  I have a good idea of what I'm wanting the truck to look like.  It would drive out of the lyric "It was the 3rd of June, another sleepy dusty delta day..." and would tend to diesel when it was turned off lol.

Very cool! They have a shop near my work. I laugh to myself every time I see that logo.

Outstanding work on this truck. Like it alot. Did not realize Walmart was still selling model kits. last time I checked in Nova Scotia they were not selling them because of a glue issue with kids.

The kits were $5 each when Walmart was clearing out their model inventory many years ago.  Had them in my stash for quite awhile.  'Glue issue with kids'?  I believe this whole sniffin' glue thing goes back to balsa airplanes.  One would use airplane 'dope' (there's that word) on the linen or paper, a varnish that would indeed give one a headache in a non ventilated area.  How one gets a high from tube glue is beyond me....and I had a pretty good time in the '70s lol!
