I am a BIG fan of Saab automobiles.  I'm talking about when they were quirky and really good cars, before GM bought them and ruined them. The old 2.3L turbo engine they made was bulletproof. And fun fact, the Saab 2.3L 4 cylinder leans over like half of a V8 because the casting for that engine block is based on half of an old Triumph V8 block. Yeah, I'm a geek.

I have been looking for a classic Saab 900, or Saab 99 model kit.  Even better if it was a rally car.

According to Scalemates and Rocketfin, nobody made Saab car model kits.

Please tell me there is something out there. Resin, 3D printed, anything.

I could print you a 1979 900 turbo. it is very curbside and basic and has a different grille to yours but i dont know much about saabs so i dont know if it accurate or not. Its really just a shell, basic interior and chassis plate. It can be datailed up if you dont mind some work with files and sandpper. The lights are also printed as part of the body so you'd probably need to scratch some up there but given the shape of the saab you might be able to shape some modern 1 piece kit glass to fit as lenses if you use the top edge of the side glass as i suspect the shape is right or at least very close. this is the file i can get but there are others that dont have anything but the body

I have a 1/43? Saab 96. Are there any other diecasts of one?

Hachette/Ixo released a 1/24 die-cast of the 96 (1969-1974 model) - first released in white in France, then in blue in Spain, and Whitebox issued an orange and a black version. I have two of them - at least one will be turned into a rally car:
