1962 VW T1 Samba Bus

This has been a few year project. Couldn't get into it for years but my wife convinced me to finish it. All body parts were separate and a pain to line up. Finally finished it yesterday

The kit is dated 2011. So older but not sure when the original came out

there was a version in the late 60s/early 70s in 1/25 scale.

Very Nice Bus! With gas prices as they are, would make a nice cross country trip vehicle now. Like the color too.

It was very tedious and frustrating. The doors and trunk area are supposed to open but that wasn't happening! Haha
