Revell 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible

Not much on convertibles but l, atleasy this one came with an up top. Tamiya Silver on the rear, Testors Platinum Silver on the front. Wish the Red was a little darker. Pirated an LS engine from a Revell 2010 Camaro kit. Made trans and engine mounts. Fit pretty good in the chassis. Pegasus wheels.

Very nice work! Those wheels look like they were made for it. Love the mild restomod vibe to it with the LS and oversized wheels. Great color combo to boot!

I love this one! The red is perfect, in my opinion. This is a great kit. My granddaughter and I worked on it together (she was 8 or 9 at the time), so naturally it had to be pink. I picked up the Pace Car version at a recent show, and also bought those wheels (not for this build though). Your color choices work beautifully together!
