Mine is pretty easy.

Try finding one of these in kit form, (promos are considerably easier to find) and you'll understand.

I found a build up about 10 years ago

I was lucky enough to get this one in a trade from one of our very own. (Claes Ericsson)

I'm still eternally grateful to him, and I hope that I did it justice for him.

If you can even find one anymore, my guess would be that an un-built example would cost you, what.........$600.00 maybe?

Drag City Resin casting. One of the last run of this particular kit. Only one I've ever seen in person.  [or on the net for that matter]

Bought it from Ed Jr. right after he took the business over when his dad passed. No more were ever made to my knowledge.

I really should finish it up someday but got bogged down making a custom interior. The interior it came with has Chevy sew patterns on the seats and door panels.

Ok, here goes…had one of these as a kid. Would love one now to try and do it justice.

I would guess that this mold would still exist for possible future releases, if it’s currently not available. ( I don’t know a whole lot about trucks)

My assumption is based on the fact that the kit you shared is an ERTL release, so it’s really not that old.

This is that last remaining 69-72 Grand Prix kit left to obtain.

This is the only ‘69-‘72 GP kit that I have.

At some point, I absolutely have to build it to replicate my 1:1.

I need one of these desperately to represent my first car paid for with my money. Got it for $800 and an old Dodge 880 my dad gave me.

No way am I paying stupid Ebay prices for it.

I have a bunch, but since I mentioned this in another thread......
I first saw this in a catalog (remember those?), then never saw it again, anywhere.

On a fluke, saw it on eBay and won the bid.  Trouble is, it's missing the front suspension uprights, and the seats.  I can fabricate those.

This weekend I snatched up this Lexus, which is another scarce kit.  I want to cast a resin copy of the engine, which is what the Boyd car had.  Another someday project has a better chance.

Lesson for everyone, when you see something you want, GET IT!  It was sad news to find out the man who produces Fischer resin models lost everything in the Paradise CA wildfire, I hope he has recovered.

It was at a car show in Phoenix recently, missed seeing it to take reference photos.
