michelle Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 I painted this model to look like a ww2 fighter plane it was a last minute to decide to add the hogan's heroes name plates to the rear quarter panels this is an amt/ertl 67 chevelle rebuilder I had it was missing the original rims and tires and exhaust system so i made custom side mounted exhaust pipes and the chrome insets for the hood it was also missing the air cleaner and the back end so I found a new back end that fit in my parts boxes and took a air cleaner from a revell 66 impala I used a custom hood scoop that came with the new mpc 68 coronet convertible kit and a rear trunk wing and rims and tires from my parts boxes the body is painted Tamiya ts-28 olive drab 2 I used a cover of the hogan’s heroes theme by bob crane featuring voice over by col hogan and sgt Shultz to play in the background of the video 3

karbuildr Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 Definitely out of the box thinking and styling Michelle. Great concept, one of those where I say, "Why didn't I think of that?" Excellent build.
