Mad Slammer Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 Hi… This one has some history… About 10 plus years ago, I bought a resin body from Gregg. When I received the package it had an extra body…. A Shortened VW bus without a roof and nothing else, with a note… “ I know you can make this one cool… “ or something close to that. Anyway, O put it aside for a couple of years until last year when the chance to attend the GSL finally came. I grafted a 1953 amt Chevy 3100 pickup roof and fabricated almost everything else… hope you guys like it… 3

XYHARRY Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Well done Roberto, I love how the surfboard is longer than the model. ? That chevy roof works well on this and the paint looks great. Cheers, David. ?? 1

PatW Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 That is just magnificent! As a VW fan since I was about 10 (now 75) I'm super impressed. I built one about 2 years ago with Centrelines with the standard body. 1
