Test shots have arrived.  Keep in mind these are first generation ones, so some bits may change still.

Here's a preview of the upcoming Moebius Models Wrecker.  We hope to have first test shots on this soon.  Kit will hopefully be out late this year.

I don't know about getting a case lol, but I do see myself getting at least two.

I want at least one tow-truck!

But what about the "pre-announded" Ford 1-ton dump-truck of a few months ago? I want that one too!!!

I wonder if '65-'66 F350s are planned further down the pike.  I wonder what other vocational bodies are left to do?  A stakebed would be welcome.

MERCURY versions would be most welcome!!

AWWWWW YISSSSSSSSS

This is the perfect wrecker I've been wanting all my life!

- AMT Peterbilt wrecker: too big

- MPC Datsun Scavenger wrecker: too little

- MPC Datsun Scavenger Monster Truck wrecker: too monster-y

- AMT 1934 Ford wrecker: too vintage

- Revell Midnite Cowboy wrecker: too custom

- Revell Captain Hook wrecker: too toylike

- MPC Cooter's wrecker: too weird

- Revell 77 GMC wrecker: very close to what I wanted, BUT NOT A FORD

Thank you, Moebius, for making my dreams come true.

Wow, never heard of this one before, but looks like it would be nice to build for its own sake. Maybe after I get me this Moebius Ford, I might track one of these down, thanks!

Getting myself back on track, it looks kinda like the cab is a 71 or 72; anyone know what year it is?

Also, I wonder if the "Nothing to see here" area above could be an alternative set of rear fenders. The original 3D render shows both rounded rear fenders, and more squared-off ones.

Lastly, this kit would look insane awesome with one of Round 2's recent amber flasher bar parts packs!

Your right, big plastic was into everything except the most popular wrecker in the 70's!  Yes, it's beginning to change. Please Moebuis,  skip the moldings on this one!

Nice pic from Crescent City.  You know that's a 480?

Skip the moldings?  You mean the molded on trim?  Sorry, that's part of the cab tooling, and it's there to stay.  5 minutes with a Tamiya steel file and it's all gone easy-peasy.  Ask me how I  know......

Wanting one of these. I remember the Ford Wreckers being far more common in real life, than Chevies. Not sure why.

Chevys were being towed by the Fords......?LOL

Well, this will be another "must have" to add to my build list.

Am I the only want that wants a parts pack of the 1 ton wheels, leaf springs, and badging to convert previously purchased Moebius trucks to the 1 ton variety?  I'd buy 6 parts packs right now.

Guess I'll just have to 3d print the parts instead.
