Sidney Schwartz Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 I had to get this one because the first car I owned was a 1964 Dodge Coronet with the slant 6 engine. I learned pretty much everything I know about working on cars on that one, also how to drive a manual transmission. What a great car. Had to finally get rid of it when it became difficult to get parts for it. ☹️ This is a nice kit. No real issues to speak of. I'm happy with how it came out. I think this is the best interior I've done so far. Enjoy, and thanks for looking. ? 6
michelle Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Nice work don’t see many modelers putting the slant 6 in thier mopar builds so it is nice to see that engine in builds
Lobo2me Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Very nice! Grerat job on the interior and a cool color choice.
Kah puts Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 What a pleasant surprise, it looks fantastic in this guise, thanks for posting ?
bisc63 Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Very cool stock build. Clean build, but the engine really sells it for me; quite realistic appearance. Well done.
XYHARRY Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Nice clean Plymouth Sidney. I had an Australian 1965 Chrysler Valiant AP5 station wagon with the 225 cu.in. slant six and 3 speed column shift manual transmission. I surprised more than a few V8 drivers in it. Again, well done on a clean build. Cheers, David. ?? P.S. pic is not my actual car, just one I googled for comparison.
Rattlecan Dan Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Nice Job on a stock build. Very good detailing and paint as well. Thanks for posting.
Classicgas Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Very nice. Don't know why round 2 labeled it AMT, it's Lindberg.
Dominik Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 very nice! The color and the interior matches really nice. well done!
ncbuckeye67 Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 That is a gorgeous build! Is this the kit that also has the V8? And is the plaid inlay a decal?

Yes, the kit comes with a V8, and the seat inlays are decals...the first I've printed in quite a long time. I posted in the tips & tricks section of the forum about the ,"no spray" decal paper I used...great stuff. 1
satterwhite78 Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 A daily driver that you would see anytime or anywhere during 64 or later. Definitely can picture the interior seat inserts on the real 1:1....
