I built this back in the early '90s. While working on the '66 Nova I couldn't help but to think of the similarities between these 2 cars. I don't remember a lot about building this other then using the Chezoom kit wheels and tires. I used red sewing thread for the interior details. Looking back, I can't say I would change anything other then articulating the front wheels and give the paint and finish more attention.

The interior detailing using thread is a cool trick, Steve. The color theme carries over to include the dice. Very retro. It's fun to look back at earlier builds.

Nice Malibu Steve. Mine is in my rebuild queue. I'll be using your piping technique, simply brilliant. Well done and still looks good after 30 years.
