Exceptionally beautiful work on an amazing boat. Although I am wondering how one would fish with that bubble top?

Hi Ricky!

The canopy comes from the Corvette Indy concept car, and I understand that the roof sections open gullwing style. So, still possible to go supersonic fishing, you know...

Awesome work! Everything fits together and flows so nicely that it feels like it was always intended to look like this.

Thank you Bill!

But you must know there was some "styrene resistance" during the construction. Namely the surface of the upper deck, which is not really flat: it has a gentle arc to it. Some clamping was needed, just like with real boats...LOL!

Well, that’s just straight up cool! Excellent workmanship on both boat and trailer.

Thank you Doyle!

It took some time, but we made it!

Hi!

Never one to waste good leftover parts, my mind got to work when I found the remnants of an Hemi-Hydro hull in a Ziplock at a recent show. I mixed the 3/4" narrowed hull with a Revell Corvette Indy canopy + Johan's 70 Eldo triple wide custom seat + jet engines from a Hasegawa Egg plane kit. The rest (deck, cabin floor, dash, gas tanks, wing, rudder etc.) is scratchbuilt.

The trailer and gas tanks/fuel pump, hydraulic cylinder, winch, and all was scratchbuilt with Evergreen and kit sprues.

Tamya's & Mr. Hobby Top coat clear + Molotow & Alclad chrome.

My first boat ever. Care for a ride? All aboard!
