Limeyglue Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 Just finished up this Chevy van. Not much done to the bodywork just removed the badges. The paint is metalflake silver base with Tamiya yellow, orange and red stripes and then clear blue over pearl blue patterns with Tamiya TS13 clear. Thanks for looking Lee. 8
espo Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 Great looking paint graphics. Clean looking body trim and the wheels look right on this. 2
Calb56 Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 Deep Purple in the cassette player and you're set. Very cool build. 1
XYHARRY Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Love it. It has that true 70s style. Good work on the graphics. Well done Lee. Cheers, David. ?? 1
KWT Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 I usually don't click on the van builds, but I'm glad I did this one for sure... Nice paint job... Nice execution... Where did you source the wheels? 1

David G. Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Fabulous looking custom paint job! ? Or as we used to say back in the day: "Bitchin' van dude!" Seriously, I first thought you used decals on it.. David G. 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Mystery how you can paint such a wild metalic graphic, and yet make it look so conservatively " mild custom". Beautiful work. 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Love the custom paint! I've been following this build. Glad to see the finished product. Is the blue sprayed over lace? I want to try this technique on a future project. 1
