cobraman Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 Some of you may have seen my post not long ago where I built a Beer Wagon and a Paddy Wagon for my nephew . He loved them and asked me to do this one . I had a time finding one sealed since I think it was last out about 30 years ago ??? Had to give 75 delivered for it but is was sealed . I did a few mods . Rear wheel valve stems , aluminum pre wired distributor , gas line from gas tank , cap to gas tank and added a coil with wire . Primed , painted with Tamiya paints . Cleared with future . For me Monogram kits have always been pretty simple kits . This kit however I think was a bit of a challenge for me . But it’s done but looks pretty good . Maybe I can get back on my last build the Agora Shelby Cobra . Thanks for looking ! 6
Camaro lover Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Nice build of an iconic kit. I actually saw one of them at a car show years ago.
Claude Thibodeau Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 HI Ray! Nice build, one of the first models I did as a kid. Souvenirs... CT
Rattlecan Dan Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 That kit always makes me chuckle. Yours seems a bit classier than most I've seen. Your awfully nice to nephew.
espo Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 The attention to the fine details is what really makes this build.
TooOld Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Great looking Boot Hill Express ! Probably the most difficult Tom Daniel kit there is and you did an excellent job .
cobraman Posted June 12, 2023 Author Posted June 12, 2023 Thank you Bob. For me, it was tough for a Monogram kit.
vamach1 Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Looks great Ray. Too bad you did not get some outdoor shots with the mountains in the background.
