BIGTRUCK Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 Its done and Im glad. I had to make a few molds and cast some parts, make them fit, fill cracks, holes, sand and prime ,sand and prime and then sand and prime, add a few custom parts and spend a little time on the paint and it still looks like the elephant in the room ,but Palmer and Premier is part of model kit history , the joy of the cool box art and disappointment of its contents. They are the kits where even the most novice of builders can pick out the inaccuracies. No regrets , I did have some fun. I've built 2 now. 6
karbuildr Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 Kewl. Great looking and that's not an easy kit for sure but you made it look old skool kustom.
TooOld Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Well done Ken , some of these kits can be real lemons and you've made lemonade ! And having fun is the whole idea !
Chuck Most Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Sheesh... And nowadays people say Revell kits have strange proportions. And sure, some do, but it looks like Premiere took it to a whole 'nother level. ? It has Pixar proportions five decades before Pixar. Love the end result, and my hat is off to you for wringing such a nice model from a questionable kit.
cobraman Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 I think you did a great job with that kit. Going to do more ?

Thanks Ray, I do have a few more including a crazy scale VW Bug by Pyro with figures but I like to mix it up some..showrods,customs , trucks , resin and the odd duck.? Also thats one heck of a Cobra your doing, Ive been watching along.
TECHMAN Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Great save!!!! Considering what you had to start with, that's pretty amazing!!!! DJ
bisc63 Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Nice work on this model, but I really want to see what's in that Buick Riviera box!

bisc63 Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Looks better than I expected. Thanks for indulging my request!
BIGTRUCK Posted June 17, 2023 Author Posted June 17, 2023 I think all the chrome trees were common across all the kits and the front and rear bumpers were unique to the kit itself. 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 They didn't name it a Lark for nothing! Lol. Cute as heck though, I'll give you that. The Toronado is nice too. (Might have left off the number).
