I finished the '29 Model A Roadster this morning and was able to get some outdoor pics as well. What a great kit and an absolute blast to build. A couple of firsts for me on this one were opening and hinging the trunk, and using flame masks for the flames.

The color is a custom blend of craft paints, the flames are Createx Pearl Silver, Anita's Galvanized Tin, and Decoart Obsidian and were done using flame masks. I cleared it all with Createx UVLS 4050 Gloss that got the wet-sand, polish, and wax treatment.

The interior is Apple Barrel White and Apple Barrel Admiral Blue. I used Tamiya Clear Blue on the shifter knob, and white embossing powder painted in the Admiral Blue for the carpet.

I wired the engine and added a MAD Modeling Accel Coil for extra details. I also cut 2 pieces of 1/8 styrene tubing and sprayed Molotow Chrome on them for the exhaust tips. I made a few mistakes with the flames and masks, but overall I'm extremely happy with how this one turned out and hope to do a few more. Thanks for looking!!

Really nice looking rod. I especially like your treatment of the chassis/floor pan. That's show-car stuff!

That looks great Craig. Your work is so clean and well detailed. The eyeball in the steering wheel is so cool. We'll done and thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The engine and chassis detailing look great. Like the interior and the kits wheels and tires look more in character in this build style.
