MrMiles Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 i used ebay to search for wagon for every year wagon from 70 to 84, the likely years of the car and came up with only a pinto, but this was a full sized wagon. anyone know of one? story behind why...i remember as a kid my mother had a lousy ford wood panel station wagon that always broke down. i remember the back glass would go down so i would sit in the "way back" and look out the back because it had no ac and the back would keep me cooler when i would sit there. i dont remember what kind of car it was, but i do remember the year was 1987 when my mother got fed up of it breaking down because we got stuck on rt 36 in eatontown (large highway). i remember that it was that year because we got a new hyundai, my mothers first new car.
Oldriginal86 Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 My family owned a 1971 Ford Falcon station wagon. 6cylinder with a stick shift on the column. It wasn’t a “ Country Squire” as those with wood grained contact paper on the sides were known. It was a POS though. Traded in 2years later on a K5 Blazer.
Mike 1017 Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 A Custom car builder might replace the vinyl the wood stickers on 1:1 with real wood. Just a thought. Mike
ctruss53 Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 There are not a whole bunch of car kits of 1975 - 1984 subject matter as a whole. Those were dark years for America. haha
Rodent Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 This is going to be resin or 3D. Are you sure it was a Ford and the seat faced backwards? The full-sized wagons got the center facing seats in 1965.

It was the biggest area and I could look out and catch some breeze Edited June 26, 2023 by MrMiles
