Zippi Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 (edited) I did a search on the site but didn't seem to come up with much. I'm thinking about changing the way I display my models for my YouTube channel videos. There seems to be a ton of different brands, sizes, and prices out there. I'd like one that is electric and can run really slow. Show me what you bought and how you like it. Edited July 2, 2023 by Zippi
slusher Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 I bought one at Hobby Lobby but have not opened it. I bought right before the 40% coupon ended…

Oldmopars Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 (edited) I like this idea, Its a solar turntable from Amazon. The size is a bit small, but a plexiglass plate the size of your model could set on top nicely. This way your model rotates and you don't need to use batteries. They are also cheap. I am getting one to use inside a 3D printer curing station, but they could be used to display a car also. https://www.amazon.com/Turntable-Rotating-Display-Printer-Collection/dp/B088BJJMRG/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=solar+turntable&qid=1688309146&sr=8-5 Edited July 2, 2023 by Oldmopars

That is how I made my own DIY curing chamber way back when. They will turn most of the time, you have to very specifically make sure the solar panel gets lots of UV and they are really small.
stitchdup Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 you can find them in industry stores too. they use them to display fancy cakes/jewellery in shop windows and come in various sizes. I think the smallest i've seen was 6inch across
Street Rod Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 (edited) Did a quick google search and found these two. Sorry, don’t know how to post a link. The one from Amazon is a 14” in diameter. Edited July 20, 2023 by Street Rod 1
