Daryl Romain Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 Built to fit into the old SS/BA class. I know the Hemi Cudas were '68s. This build initiated on a challenge, that I couldn't fit a Monogram Hemi, this one from a '71 Cuda, into a 1/25th scale Mpc Cuda. I used the stock chassis but tubbed it, using the bottom of a prescription pill bottle for tubs. I used modified Amt '68 Road Runner front inner wheelwells to fit. Started in 2017, lost interest, was looking for a new project this year and decided to finish this one. Lost the taillight, grafted in a sectioned and narrowed '70 GTX taillight panel. Found the taillight after I finished the car. 3
Rattlecan Dan Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 That's pretty cool. Great stick-to-it-ivness. Got a unique look to it.
Mopar2 Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Very cool build...I like how you tubbed her.The 70 Roadrunner taillights look like they belong there.Very good job...
6bblbird Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 "Built to fit into the old SS/BA class. I know the Hemi Cudas were '68s. " Easy fix. Put in A/Modified Production! no one will question that! I love the tail light conversion! WF
