This is the AMT kit in Bright Blue Poly. Not the easiest kit to build with some fit issues but looks pretty good when finished. Tires, steel wheels and poverty caps came from the parts box.

Beautiful work! I've always loved these old Cougars. I had a friend who had a white one. Not an Eliminator, but would still light up the rear tires quite effortlessly.

Jeff, I always liked the styling of these older Cougars. Very appealing. I was fortunate to grow up right in the middle of the muscle car era.

Looks very pretty, David. I remember when I was a kid the Cougar from Matchbox was one of my most popular toy.

I believe I had one of those myself. Good times.

Unfortunately for me David, I just missed that. I was born in '67, so I grew up in the pollution control era (at least as far as new cars go). But there were still several older muscle cars roaming the streets. My older brother had a beautiful 66 Galaxie (390 4 spd), and later on a 68 Mustang fastback.

It was an amazing time for us car nuts. Heck, I lost count of how many muscle cars I've had over the years. Back then, they were so cheap it's ridiculous. If I knew then, what I know now, I would have kept every single one of those cars. They're worth a small fortune now.
