1978 Dodge Truck

I found a really cool 78 Dodge on the internet.  I'm trying to loosely recreate it.

Mixed up a little paint.  Kind of close to what I was going for.

Here's a rough mock up of my progress and my inspiration.

The pic of the real truck reminds of a mid 90's dodge color Light Kiwi Pearl,your color choice looks fine too.

Looking REALLY GOOD!  This EXACT truck inspired me to do two trucks based on it. The first was not that great, on my second try I got a lot closer.  I called the 2nd one “Take II” because it was the second attempt at the truck. You can find it on YouTube if you like at the KBCC Garage channel.  
That color you mixed is ??!

The guy who owns the actual truck contacted me on Facebook. He sent me a video of the truck in action. I’ll try and share it here. If he sends me anything else I will try and share it with you…if you like.

Yes and no. Wheels on a car or truck often set the look and are an expression of the owner's taste. These wouldn't be my first choice either, but it's the owner's and as long as he's happy with them who am I to say they are good or bad.

Not my first choice either, however, everyone has different tastes. I'm old enough to think 15's are great because I like the bigger sidewalls and the ride quality is superior to the big hoops. I really lost interest when wheels became more of a fashion statement and actually degraded performance in some aspects. Here is my 67 Lemans with "age appropriate" wheels. In my opinion, of course.

I’ve been sitting here doing the calculations for shortening the bed length for this kit. Consider me inspired! ??
