Hi Guys, I'm hoping someone can help, The V6 in the Olds has a Rochester 1 barrel carb. I think the one from the 51 Chev kit will work but I can not find where the fuel line goes.  If you have the answer that would be vey helpful. Thanks.

If you can find the V6 'Dauntless' engine from the old MPC jeep kits you will find the carburetor for a V6. The were Buick V6's

A 1 barrel on a v6?  Sure it isn’t a 2 barrel carb?

That was my first thought too. I’ve worked on a lot of old Buick v-6 engines with carburetors over the years and don’t remember seeing a 1 barrel on any of them. (Could be memory problems though) I have also experienced someone thinking a 2 barrel with the single round upper throat was a 1 barrel. However, I looked it up and Buick made a Fireball v-6 with a 1 barrel carburetor.

Thanks guys for the help.  As it has been a very long time , and I was just a kid, I can't remember many details anymore. I did find a pic of an intake manifold on the internet.

Ya I had a 65 Buick Skylark V6 with 1bbl carb. It's like having a built in governor, silly concept.
