So I could probably do that intake manifold Not sure I'm going to do those weird covers on the carbs at least not the hoses, but I will not be selling the intake manifold separately it would come with my 427 Cobra engine
Texas_3D_Customs
But for the life of me I can't seem to find a picture of that engine not in a car to do those superchargers would require at least that I know what in the world drives them I know it's a belt but beyond that I mean I'm going to want it to be at least somewhat right looking
afx
Shelby used Twin Paxton Superchargers, it should look very similar to this setup. thgThis photo This photo gives you some idea as to how a supercharger is mounted. Texas_3D_Customs
HMM... But to be honest they really look a lot different to me Edited July 20, 2023 by Texas_3D_Customs
afx
I posted the last photo as reference as to how a supercharger could be mounted, doesn't appear to be a Paxton (or at least not the model) that Shelby used.

Fat Brian
I'm collecting parts for one of these. There are superchargers that are pretty close in the Surf Woody kit. But if Charles wants to make a setup for this I certainly wouldn't turn it down.

Texas_3D_Customs
Here is the main issue, I have no idea what those look like from various angles, and how big they are. the bracket and belts are easy the intake is not too hard, its those blower units, I will be honest I can draw something up but I hate just drawing random things as good enough.

vamach1
I also have the FM diecast and somewhere in storage a 1/18 diecast of the Supersnake. The Barrett-Jackson pictures are probably the best closeup pictures I’ve seen since there is only one of the two cars made that still exist. Perhaps there are more pictures or information about the superchargers which look similar to the ones offered as an option on 66-68 Shelby GT350 Mustangs, and pictures of the Edelbrock XF8 cross-ram manifold. Texas_3D_Customs
The intake manifold is easy to fake it till you make it, its just a cross ram intake with two log style plenums, its the superchargers that are what is bothering me, one the intake should be in the back but no filter? second the actual diameter of the housing and the different steps if you have the die cast can you take measurements for me and we can assume thats close enough to scaled accurately? also the measurements of the engine to check the accuracy of the scale. br67
I was also considering building one some time back and was looking at the custom hood in the MPC 67 GTO as a starting point 1

Texas_3D_Customs
So I called up William at the Carroll Collection, he has one under a glass case and thinks he has the dimensional drawings for it. Told me he will call me back next week and send me over anything he has. I told him I would send him a model engine if I can get it done. Sport Suburban
I also want to build The Cobra Super Snake along with the 67 Shelby Little Red. Little Red also has the twin superchargers on a 427. So, I am down for a few myself.
Spex84
https://www.diyford.com/centrifugal-superchargers-guide-in-ford-small-blocks/ Looks like Paxton SN-60 is the one you want. The trad hot rod guys like the (earlier?) Paxton VS57. Below is a youtube vid of a Mustang with a very similar dual Paxton setup, with the connecting brace and center pulley. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGZuvvNJFig Here's a pair of them in another Ford: https://preview.redd.it/cgu92h5l2kx61.jpg?width=1080&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=eaab3f8daf1895f8b91ef33786e655f2ea0e6bfa
