Tail light red

[JVG]

Building a nova.  The tail lights in the amt kit are not the translucent red parts I am accustom to

instead they are chrome. What paint do you guys use ?  I have stop light red from MCW

I simply use a red Fine point Sharpie.

The Tamiya translucents work well for me. They are much more resistant to wear and fading than using a marker pen.

I flip back and forth between Tamiya clear red and Model Master stop light red.  Depends on the project.   The MM is transparent,  but is also metallic.

I used the Tamiya X-27 clear red also. Not sure which Nova you’re building, but I had a few issues with mine. My build thread here:
