khier Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 My trailer showed earlier was two round in comparison with Revell T2 bus and the sides were too soft to print properly. I did deliberately this way with the intention to add interior details later. Sadly, the first test print showed it was very difficult to put together. A multi piece design suffered from incontinent part deformations and printing tolerances. There was a greater possibility for flaws. To put it short: it looked nice on the screen but terrible in reality. As a remedy, the body shell was strengthen by a mesh of stiffeners. The roof attachment pins were replaced by a large center tab. The floor panel was also strengthened. This meant interior had to be abandoned in favour of the sturdier body shell and ease of printing. I will try to print the trailer today. Wish me luck.... 3
