Pete75 Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 This has been on and off the bench for a couple of years. A couple of time consuming mishaps along the way, but I'm glad the ordeal is over! The colour is Tamiya Candy Lime Green. ? 8
galaxyg Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Very nice. Candy Lime green is a great colour for mad cars. 1
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Super looking model. Seeing the tiny Lamborghini decal on the console. Wow 1

70 Sting Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Sharp looking car. Colour suits it perfectly.? Not a kit for the faint of heart. Working doors can be a challenge. 1

happy grumpy Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Nice and clean build. Color well suited for a Lambo . Those cars are intimidating. 1

1959scudetto Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 Very nice Lamborghini, Peter - great paint job! (The only thing that catches my eye is the license plate: this kind of plate was used in Italy from 1976 to 1985 - with a modern plate that would be perfect) 1

Yes, you are quite correct: the plate was unused from the Tamiya Ferrari Testarossa kit! Before I fitted it, I checked to see what contemporary Italian plates look like and discovered that this style was discontinued in the 1980s. I decided that style should win over accuracy in this instance, however, because I didn't really like any of my other options... ?
Rattlecan Dan Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Very sharp! Cool looking Exotic. Nice job. 1
