dsummone Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 I’ve been working on this one for a bit. I’ve always wanted to do a hearse and this kit fit the bill. I opened the hood up and added the motor and drivetrain. The plan is to add led headlights, taillights and interior lighting. 4
Bainford Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Cool! With a pair of 4-bubbles it will get you to the gates on time. I have never seen this kit before. Does it include parts for a stock ambulance? 1

dsummone Posted August 1, 2023 Author Posted August 1, 2023 I got the headliner and interior lights installed as we as glueing up the headlights and taillights. 1
atomicholiday Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Those lights are killer. Engine looks great too. This is gonna be sweet!? 1
dsummone Posted August 4, 2023 Author Posted August 4, 2023 Interior is ready, the casket turned out a little big but I’ll just pretend I’m carrying Andre the Giant.
dsummone Posted August 15, 2023 Author Posted August 15, 2023 Waiting on the hood but thought I’d update the progress. This kit had all kinds of fitment issues before I cut the hood open and just got worse from there. The chassis was warped about 1/4” I tried putting it in hot water and reshaping it but ended up having to twist it and glue it in the body. The points where the roof rack was supposed to mount showed up in the paint… I had tried to smooth them out but my body work kind of sucks. The fuel tank is the battery holder for the lights and works good. All in all it was a fun project but this following after the MG I am looking forward to something much more straight forward. Dave.
redscampi Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Very, very cool! Everyone needs a hearse eventually!
