Luc Janssens Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 Look like Revell just released this one. More pics and info here: 1970 Ford Torino Cobra // Novelties // Revell Online-Shop 10
Justin Porter Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 Genuinely happy to see that one back in the range. It's such a striking car and a really well tooled kit. 2

Also what differs between the original release and this one, are the improvements Revell-Monogram made on the GT, like the fading rocker crease and I think they redesigned front seats too. RSchnell Posted August 5, 2023 Posted August 5, 2023 Normally something like this is out of my wheelhouse, but I like it. May have to pick one up!
wrenchr Posted August 5, 2023 Posted August 5, 2023 Nice one to have back, prices were creeping up on the last release.
catpack68 Posted August 5, 2023 Posted August 5, 2023 One of my favorite kits to build! I’m glad to see this one back?
slusher Posted August 5, 2023 Posted August 5, 2023 A kit I have never built maybe someday. Great looking box art.

Luc is 100% correct here. Revell went to the extra effort to make these changes, but regrettably neither of the GT kit product reviews in the model magazines mentioned these corrections, which might have driven some degree of additional kit sales (at least among the truly dedicated modeling community) that would have justified this additional effort and expenditure. Hopefully this time will be different! TB Edited August 5, 2023 by tim boyd 1

stavanzer Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 I remember this review as well. It made me purchase the kit.

Trendsetta68 Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 wow, crept up on me ... I love this kit from Revell ... I'll have to add 1 to the stash ! ??
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Ordered mine last night. Hope they fixed the hood issue. Been wanting another one. Depending on how it looks, I might even pick up another for my friend.
Trendsetta68 Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 as mentioned in the past, a 1970 Ranchero GT or Wagon would be a kool addition with the Revell tooling. Even a convertible would be nice ! I've always loved this kit !!! ?? 3
sfhess Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Gerry Chevalier is doing a limited run of his 70 Ranchero resin conversion kit. You can find him on Facebook.

Had to take out the firewall and glue the shaker directly to the hood for a good hood fit on the old kits. I believe I've seen it mentioned before on here. Edited August 19, 2023 by Hard_2_Handle_454
