oldcarfan Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 So glad to come across this thread! I've been collecting some Italian kits lately in preparation for retirement in a few years. I already have around 20 Porsches and these outlaw style builds are my favorites. I've already got several Ferraris on the shelf and a couple Fiats.
PatW Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Superb pictures. I have seen both Alfa and Lancia race and rally over 20+ years of race and rally marshalling. That was 40 years ago when I was only 35 years old!

Actually, I just recently learned Louis Chevrolet was Swiss-American, and the Chevy symbol harkens to the flag of Switzerland. And I guess we shouldn't even talk about the DeTomaso Pantera which was owned by Argentinian Alejandro de Tomaso, designed by Dutch-American Tom Tjaarda, built in Italy by Ghia, with an engine by Ford, and sold by Lincoln/Mercury.
